CHURCH WITHOUT POLITICS MOVEMENT is a prophetic action for those who have something to say about it! Encouraging Christians to be spokespersons for biblical-dogmatic truth inside and outside the temple. The acomplishment of this action bears witness to the personality and character of Christ, whose attitude to the temple in Jerusalem impelled him to purify it: "the zeal of my Father's house has truly consumed me".
Over the centuries, many theories about the church have arisen in the world, each of which claims some creedal basis that imposes its institutional government, the power of religious teaching. Although the term "church" is part of sectarian movements, it is important to stress that the church is essentially divine, both in its origin and in end, preaching the unity corresponding to Christ. Man's part is not to create it with his efforts, but to maintain it and express it over the power of the Gospel Jesus witnessed himself. The church is a divine institution, not born as a product of human relationships, political agreements, or the will of flesh, but a fruit of special gracious activity of God himself.
There can be no doubt that Christ founded the first Church and entrusted it with the prominence of the sacramental and juridical power of ecclesiastical function, on the teaching and government of the Church. He gave the first Church a government of its own, and personally empowered it as he ordained his apostles, building a foundation for this Church that does not end in an "Apostolic Age", but continues to be instituted, in such a way that it remains until the end of time. Its antiquity, historical continuity and uninterrupted succession define a standard article of faith against any other way of human interpretation..
Christ himself indicates its special character, making this Church a model free of human will, of independent existence, as its own organization is independent of the State or Society. This Church was described before there was any established ecclesiastical order, making its own identity clear, and by its authentic position it expressed itself as the Church of the churches. Its organization, administration, as well as the qualifications of those who held office, its true unity, purity of doctrine and life, sacraments administered and primary confession, play an apologetic role in our day. The essential care of the first church, such as the supervision of its members, the ministry of the word, the calling and election of ministers without state and philosophical ties - all this is unalterable and solemn for all other existing congregations.
So the so-called "reformed churches" were opposed to this from the outset. The tangents of the Reformation paved the way for multiformity. Different statements of belief followed one another or appeared simultaneously within history, profoundly changing the pattern Christ instituted of the true Church. The reason why they replaced the community of faith with an institutional body, in a more civic term, as a mere local government entity. Stressing that their identity and unity includes the civil/social dimension as a way of saying that the Kingdom of God is a political and religious purpose.
Under the influence of the Enlightenment, liberal theology began to develop in sectarian circles, within a moralistic and pietistic tone, the positive significance of the Kingdom of God in the life of this world. A dualistic understanding of the Kingdom, reaching a social/civil concept that places its emphasis on the visible and social significance of the Kingdom. This concept is historically distinguished as social radicalism, or evolutionary belief in progress by a social gospel. The vision of the Kingdom of God is politicized by the conception of these positions, the march for social justice, and communal development.
As a result of this discourse, they have united the Church with the State, at times transforming ecclesiastical power into political power, and at other times transferring power from the Church to the State. This not only undermines the principle of Christ's reign over the Church, but also violates the origin, nature and ministry laid down in the Holy Scriptures. The Church is indeed distinct from the State, but in the reality of these so-called reformers, the Church is within the State, and it is rare for the Church's pronouncement not to be tied to the political obligations of the powers of this world.
Because of this close relationship with the state and the assumed obligation to represent it, the Church has engaged in disgusting acts of violence and coercion against corrupt governments. In the open field of contradictions, they scandalize the name of Christ with societies formed by men without character. A Church guided by the success of the proletariat, enslaved by party divisions, resorting to the cunning and hypocrisy of popularism, of those who allow themselves to be ruled by the vice of politics. A doctrine based on the calculation of materialistic disputes, formulated by a filthy ecclesiastical leadership, which is nothing more than the manager of the owners of this world. Changing parties as one changes shirts, encouraging their faithful to patriotism, turning their pulpits into election platforms, their services into parliamentary sessions and administrative meetings, running disciples for public office, or functions that correspond to the State. Provoking an insurrection through a purely theocratic Christian tyranny, which proclaims the freedoms of individualistic conscience and ecumenical religiosity.
These unequivocal spiritualist, moralist and evolutionary interpretations of the Church of Christ and the Kingdom of God have given rise to this present New World Order in which we now find ourselves. For these reasons, in an attempt to manifest "to the powers that be" the regulations for ecclesiastical government, which Christ provided, what we call "general principles of the exercise of the regulatory function", the initiative arose to build an interdenominational project (churchwithoutpolitics.org) that provides sufficient theological representation to coerce and put an end to any kind of arbitrariness or abuse committed against the church of Christ.
CHURCHWITHOUTPOLITICS.ORG is a prophetic initiative for those who have something to say about it! Encouraging Christians to be spokespersons for biblical-dogmatic truth inside and outside the temple. The realization of this action bears witness to the personality and character of Christ, whose attitude to the temple in Jerusalem impelled him to purify it: "the zeal of my Father's house has truly consumed me". He relegated the temple to a position extremely subordinate to the Holy Scriptures, and testified to the Lord being greater than the temple. The temple will become a mask of spiritual sterility, terribly contaminated by politics and ideologies, and Jesus' messianic activity will identify such contamination in the temple as to make it unfit to continue in existence.
The initiative of the "Church Without Politics" project proposes an interdenominational service action aimed at the following aspects of its members:
• Fulfilling the prophetic office of transmitting to fellow human beings the normative and administrative values that ensure the ministry given to the Church by Christ.
• As an intercessory aspect, the task is to directly and personally notify any leadership or church that is committed to party politics or ideology.
• In accordance with the unalterable principles of this nature, with the method of biblical theological verification, the Word of God must be transmitted as Christ testified, without mere passive opinion, by biblical authority, with organization of thought and total control of indignation.
We are counting on EVERYONE 'S help to publicize and promote this important initiative!
In 2020, in Sao Paulo (Brazil), a group of converted Christians founded The CHURCH WITHOUT POLITICS MOVEMENT. The board of directors is composed by two members: Pr. Daniel Batista (General Coordinator) and Pb. Jose Luiz B. Filho (General Vice Coordinator).
The CHURCH WITHOUT POLITICS website will work with two specific and defined strands: including essential data from the Christian message, such as doctrinal requirements, grasping the intellectual content of biblical truth and; forming an informal association, made up of true Christians, concerned about the high degree of political-religious contamination in today's churches. The aim is to expose all this content, how to transmit biblical theological positions within a critical apologetic line that explores sufficient evidentiary arguments to defend the standards of the early church against any opposing ideology or position. DENUNCIATE, whether members, ministers or priests. We cannot accept that the Church continues to be blasted with heretical beliefs and treated like a state harlot. In an attempt to denounce these para-church structures of partisan political cooperation, whatever they may be, as a development and revolution of liberal theology, like the cooperatives of intellectuals and theologians for the standardization and militant radicalization of the left, who elect politicians from the continental drug trade, militiamen from the MST (Landless Rural Workers Movement), pro-abortion activists, pro-homosexuality, decriminalization of drugs, etc.
We decided to create "churchwithoutpolitics.org", an interdenominational, informal, independent, non-profit association with no political, ideological, party or denominational ties whatsoever. Pastor Daniel Batista - General Coordinator.
In view of the above, we make available to everyone a permanent collection of doctrinal information on the subject of "politics in the church", with general biblical principles for the ecclesiological administrative function. A space in which EVERYONE will be able to express their opinions on the subject, making it possible to recognize critical vision, stimulating theological reflection, promoting scriptural biblical argumentation, attending to the activities proposed exclusively on the subject.
Below are the FUNDAMENTALS OF ADMINISTRATIVE PRINCIPLES, which should be seen as important for the dispensation of the Gospel, and which will be highlighted on this site:
- All authority emanates from Christ and is exercised in his name and his work;
- Christ provides the instrumental unity of the ministerial pattern of Christian service to which all must submit;
- Ecclesiastical government is a whole and not an institutional hierarchy.
